Our First VCR

I can remember my family getting our first VCR.
I was so excited at the idea that I could watch any movie any time that I wanted.
Our neighbors had gotten one a few year earlier when VCRs first came out and costed a fortune. My sister and I were invited over the day they set it up.
Everyone just sat around amazed at this great new technology.

    Thanks for reminding me how excited we all were when the VCR first came out , That was in the mid 70's how the technology has advanced I can remember how big and heavy they were , not sure of how much time you had for recording but sure it was not that long seems amazing when you see the new DVR's which allow you to record hours and hours of TV
