My First Love and my holiday romance

I was 16 and went on holiday with my parents to Mexico to an all inclusive holiday , my parents had decided to allow me a lot more freedom than I had ever had before , and I met a girl who was the same age and from Seatle called Kay who I fell in love with we spent every waking moment together and I was sure it was love.

It was like walking on water and my parents and her parents seemed not to mind, when we finished the holiday we both said we would continue our relationship by writing and phoning but over just a month it fizzled out . that was over 10 years ago and I still remember that holiday and what first love felt like.
